The Cabin

HyttaSituated on the island of Spildra in the county of Kvænangen in northern Troms. The cabin is made of timber in Russian traditional style in 2005. It is 23 square meter, has a small entrance/kitchen, a sleeping room for two persons and a living room. There is sleeping space for  three persons, but two fits the bill better. (inside sketch) Heating by wooden stove and water outside. Food is made on a gas oven. Toilet is the traditional outdoor version and a nice sauna lies by the shore. The hut is just a hundred meters from the main house in Skaga. Electricity is available by  220 V aggregate in the boathouse and cellular phone can be used all over the island.
